Filed: 12/6/13 Issued: 8/21/18 A disposable diaper for pets, said disposable diaper comprising: a back-side waist area, an abdomen-side waist area, and a crotch area between the back-side waist area and the abdomen-side waist area, a diaper longitudinal direction in which the back-side waist area, the crotch area and the abdomen-side waist area contiguously extend when the disposable diaper is not worn on a pet, and a diaper transverse direction crossing the diaper longitudinal direction, both ends in the diaper longitudinal direction and both ends in the diaper transverse direction, an inside surface adapted to face the pet when the disposable diaper is worn on the pet, an outside surface opposite to the inside surface, a tail insertion opening formed in a prescribed region in the diaper longitudinal direction, an absorbent core formed on one side of the tail insertion opening in the diaper longitudinal direction and disposed in a further prescribed region extending over the crotch area and the abdomen-side waist area, an absorbent-core non-arrangement region in which the absorbent core is not disposed, a fastening part having a prescribed length and provided in the abdomen-side waist area, a hook part provided in the fastening part, and a fastening region provided on the outside surface of the back-side waist area and configured to receive the hook part of the fastening part, wherein the fastening region comprises a first fastening region which is formed of nonwoven fabric and provided on the outside surface at least within the absorbent-core non-arrangement region of the back-side waist area, when the disposable diaper is worn on the pet, the crotch area and the abdomen-side waist area are adapted to cover a crotch and an abdomen of the pet, respectively, the back-side waist area is adapted to be closely fitted to a back of the pet, the fastening part is fastened to the fastening region, and a weight of the absorbent core after excretion is received in a fastening part longitudinal direction of the fastening part, the first fastening region includes: thermoplastic fibers, a first welded part extending in a first direction and formed by melting of the thermoplastic fibers, a first welded part group formed by a plurality of the first welded parts, a first adjacent welded part group formed by each pair of adjacent ones of the first welded parts in the first welded part group, a second welded part extending in a second direction crossing the first direction and formed by melting of the thermoplastic fibers, a second welded part group formed by a plurality of the second welded parts, a second adjacent welded part group formed by each pair of adjacent ones of the second welded parts in the second welded part group, a surrounding part having a parallelogram shape surrounded by the first adjacent welded part group and the second adjacent welded part group which intersect with each other, a third welded part extending in a third direction crossing the first and second directions and formed within the surrounding part by melting of the thermoplastic fibers, a third welded part group formed by a plurality of the third welded parts, a third adjacent welded part group formed by each pair of adjacent ones of the third welded parts in the third welded part group, a first loop part that is formed by the thermoplastic fibers extending between the first and third welded parts and can be removably engaged with the hook part of the fastening part, and a second loop part that is formed by the thermoplastic fibers extending between the second and third welded parts and can be removably engaged with the hook part of the fastening part.
